At House of Boat, we stand behind our philosophy of believing in the authenticity and rawness of home. We believe that each space we create should be rooted in beauty and should inspire intimate connections and conversations. That said, we have our five main design styles that define our aesthetic and it’s infused in every project that we create. These five styles are European + Mediterranean, Modern Contemporary, Industrial + Organic, Romantic Luxe, and Classic Traditional. EUROPEAN + MEDITERRANEAN

Our European and Mediterranean style takes inspiration from the lived-in luxury aesthetic. It's about the drapeyness of linen fabrics, the patina of unlacquered brass, the softness of architectural elements such as arches, and the timeless charm of wrought-iron accents. Think brass, curved light fixtures, a soft neutral color palette, plaster and lime wash wall finishes, vintage decor, marble, wood furniture, interesting architectural details, and many more. Truly, this style is the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern-day elements and it is refined without being fussy, combining understated luxury with practical comfort, which we love.

MODERN CONTEMPORARY

Our Modern Contemporary style is for those who seek minimal, uncluttered spaces that radiate a sense of quiet luxury. What inspires us the most about this style is the clean lines, neutral with a splash of color palettes, high contrast, and unique but functional furnishings. At House of Boat, we focus on creating a balance between form and function, where every piece has a purpose, and not just for aesthetics only. We love integrating high-quality materials like marble and classic handmade tiles to enhance the modern feel, while soft textures such as plush rugs and upholstered pieces add warmth and comfort to the spaces we create.

INDUSTRIAL + ORGANIC

What I love about this style is the delicateness of the wrought iron chairs and decor elements. I believe the interesting shapes add softness to this style and make it feel more approachable and organic. At House of Boat, we love playing with texture and contrast, adding warmth to the coolness of industrial elements, creating a harmonious balance that feels both grounded and intentional.

ROMANTIC LUXE

From soft romantic colors to statement furniture to soft velvets, our romantic luxe style is all about infusing glamour into a space that feels both sophisticated and laid back. Think velvets, pleats, stripes, scallops, colored stones such as marble and tiles, unlacquered brass, high contrast, and many more….

CLASSIC TRADITIONAL

Tradition is called tradition for a reason- it stands the test of time. While we love traditional interior design elements such as classic millwork, classic wood flooring patterns, and classic marble stonework, we also love taking a spin on it and making it our own. We love pairing the traditional elements with a touch of modernity to create timeless spaces. Our goal is to create spaces that feel stately yet livable, perfect for those who appreciate the elegance of tradition without sacrificing comfort.
